Summer Camps

Thank you for your interest in enrolling your children in the Power of One Karate’s Summer Sports camps for 2016! The Power of One Self-Defense Institute has been running Summer Sports Camps since 1999, and hundreds of students have enjoyed activities from martial arts training, swimming, hiking, bowling, surfing to theme parks, museums, water parks and science centers. If you are looking for a safe, fun environment for your child to work on strong positive attitudes, learning self-respect and self-discipline and opportunities for socialization then our camp is perfect for you. This year we will be focusing on Life Skills for Success. Our curriculum includes activities to enhance leadership skills, goal setting and follow through, responsibilities, courtesy, teamwork and much more. We look forward to serving you and/or your children this Summer!

We are very happy to provide these educational sports camps to the youth of our community. Studies show that children who are active in a structured environment such as the Po1 Summer Camps are much more likely to be successful later in life. They gain valuable life skills including social, intellectual, physical and emotional. Also, they will be less likely to be victims of violent crime, drugs, alcohol, and negative peer pressures.

This we provide 7 weeks of summer camps available at a variety of our Po1 locations to students and non-students ages 5 years and older.

Camps go from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, Monday – Friday. With early drop off and late pick up available from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

The investment per week for your child’s program varies from $162-$200 depending on how many weeks they attend with family rates available! This includes martial art classes. Pre/post care is an additional $25/week or $10/day.
